Alligatorfolk

Gatori are a race of humanoid alligators, with large, powerful jaws and tough, scaly skin. They are highly adaptable and able to thrive in a variety of environments, from swamps and rivers to urban areas. Despite their fearsome appearance, Gatori are intelligent and highly social, forming tight-knit communities and working together to overcome challenges.

Gatori have a strong sense of pride and fiercely protect their families and communities. They are natural hunters and are skilled at tracking and ambushing their prey. In combat, they use their powerful jaws and sharp claws to devastating effect, and are not afraid to fight to protect what they hold dear.

Gatori are also highly perceptive and have a keen sense of smell, making them excellent at detecting scents and following trails. They are also able to see in low light conditions, giving them an advantage in dark and murky environments.

Gatori have tough, scaly skin that grants them extra resistance to slashing damage.

Bite

Your toothy maw is a natural weapon, which you can use to make unarmed strikes. If you hit with it, you deal piercing damage equal to 1d6 + your Strength modifier. When you hit with your bite attack, as a Bonus Action you can attempt to grapple a creature your size or smaller. Until this grapple ends, the target is restrained, and you can't bite another target.

You have advantage on melee attack rolls and grapple checks while in water.

Hold Breath

You can hold your breath for up to an hour.
