Armor of Melodic Resistance (Breastplate)

Legendary (requires attunement)

You have a +2 bonus to AC while wearing this armor.

While wearing the armor, any spell cast by the attuned bard that has a verbal component gains an additional +2 bonus to its spell attack roll and spell save DC.

Once per short rest, the bard may use their action to play their instrument and create a powerful sonic wave that affects all creatures within a 30-foot radius. All affected creatures must make a Wisdom saving throw (DC = 8 + the bard's proficiency bonus + their Charisma modifier) or be stunned for one round. The bard may choose to have the effect deal no damage, or deal thunder damage equal to the bard's Charisma modifier (minimum of 1). This ability has no effect on creatures that are deafened.

The armor grants resistance to thunder damage. When attuned and equipped, a bard is granted proficiency in medium armor.

This armor consists of a fitted metal chest piece worn with supple leather. Although it leaves the legs and arms relatively unprotected, this armor provides good protection for the wearer's vital organs while leaving the wearer relatively unencumbered.

Bastion Armor Set (Plate)

Rare, Very Rare, Legendary

Typically obtained as individual pieces. Each piece is considered Rare but obtaining two pieces is considered Very Rare and the full set is Legendary.

Bastion Plate Armor

This suit of armor is reinforced with obsidian treated fibers, one of the hardest substances in existence. While you're wearing it, you have resistance to non-magical slashing, piercing, and bludgeoning damage. 


Boots of the Bastion

This boots are reinforced with obsidian treated fibers, one of the hardest substances in existence. While you're wearing them, your speed is reduced by 5 and you are unable to take the dash action. You gain a fortitude and have advantage against saving throws that would result in you being pushed back, knocked prone, or otherwise moved by physical force. When the full set is equiped, you gain advantage on STR saving throws.


Gauntlets of the Bastion

This gauntlets are reinforced with obsidian treated fibers, one of the hardest substances in existence. While you're wearing it, your strength is increased by 2. Increased to 3 when the full set is equipped.


Full Set Bonus

When the full set is equipped, the set grants immunity to non-magical slashing, piercing, and bludgeoning damage that is not a critical hit. Critical will count as resistance. Resistance to magical slashing, piercing, and bludgeoning damage that is not a critical hit. Critical will count as standard damage.

Dragon's Greed Adamantine Plate (Plate)

Very Rare (forces attunement)

This suit of armor is reinforced with gold dragon scales and adamantine, one of the hardest substances in existence. While you're wearing it, your AC is raised to 19.

Any critical hit taken counts as a normal hit.


Curse

When worn, you are instantly attuned to the item and it cannot be removed while you are alive. The armor is cursed with dragon's greed. When you take damage of any kind, you lose an equal amount of gold from your inventory that is sacrificed to the dragon that cursed the armor. If you do not have enough gold in your inventory to pay the price of the hit, your AC is dropped to 10. Once regaining any amount of gold, it takes 1 minute for your AC to increase again.

Earthforged Plate (Plate)

Very Rare (requires attunement)

Molded in the heart of a mountain, this heavy armor is adorned with veins of ore.

Grants the wearer an additional +1 to AC beyond the standard plate armor bonus.

The wearer gains resistance to bludgeoning damage.

Once per long rest, as a reaction, the wearer can draw upon the armor's power when hit, causing the ground to shake and all creatures within a 10-foot radius to make a Dexterity saving throw, DC the user's STR score (min 13 and max 18), or be knocked prone.

Lightning Guard (Chain Mail)

Very Rare (requires attunement)

Forged from a non-conductive metal, this armor 

Grants the wearer an additional +1 to AC beyond the standard chain mail bonus.

The wearer gains resistance to lightning damage.

Once per long rest, the wearer can raise their weapon to the sky (or ceiling) and call down a bolt of lightning to strike a target within 60 feet. The target must make a Dexterity saving throw or take 4d10 lightning damage (half damage on a successful save).

Phoenix Winged Breastplate (Breastplate)

Very Rare (requires attunement)

Infused with the feathers of a phoenix, this medium armor appears to glow with an inner flame.

The wearer gains resistance to fire damage.

If the wearer is reduced to 0 hit points but not killed outright, they can choose to be enveloped in a fiery explosion (20-foot radius, dealing 6d6 fire damage to nearby creatures) and then be reborn with half of their hit points. Once used, the armor is destroyed, leaving only ash behind.

Serpent Weaver (Scale Mail)

Rare (requires attunement)

Crafted from the shimmering scales of an ancient sea serpent, this medium armor is as fluid as water.

Grants the wearer a swim speed equal to their walking speed.

The wearer can breathe underwater.

Once per long rest, the wearer can use an action to summon the protective spirit of the sea serpent, granting them a shield of swirling water that deflects non-magical ranged attacks for 1 minute.
